Introduction:

Adolf Hitler was the chancellor of Germany from 1933 to 1945, he was serving as a dictator and leader of Nazi party or known as National Socialist German Workers Party, for the time of his power. Germany turned into republic in 1919. Numerous German were disappointed with the rise of new circumstance and they blame the losing of power to the social democrats. with the time, things began to gaze upwards 1920s and in 1930s, global economic crisis hit and the results of which Germany no longer able to pay the debts of war. A large number of German loose their jobs, also political crisis arises. than German National Socialist Worker Party came which was small party in 1920. through his oratory talent, Hitler attract more and more member. Nationalism and antisemitism was the characteristics of this party. In November 1923, Hitler was coup attempt and NADAP was banned by court and he was release in 1924. during the time of this sentence, he had written a Mein Kampf which reveals a plan for Germany. from that point. Nazi were stick to the power and try to gain power through elections and he become successful in getting 0.8 million votes and in 1930, the number had increased to 6.4 million. Germany was in the grip of great depression with a population suffering from poverty, misery and uncertainty, amid increasing political instability. The government banned the communist party. By March 15, 10,000 communists had arrested. for the housing of these prisoner, first camp was opened and the circumstance in the camp were atrocious. All existing political parties were banned, and from mid-July 1933, Germany was a single-party state. In April 1933, government took official action against Jews where major boycott of Jewish products were announced. This is the first step against the series of anti-Jewish measures. After holding power, Hitler turned Germany into dictatorship where Hitler erode democracy from Germany. Through this, Hitler continue his strengthen on country.
Effects on International trade
Hitler economic policy had following main ideas that improved the life life of ordinary people that are given below:
- Full employment: By 1939, there was no unemployment in Germany as everyone should have a job.
- Importance of work: Nazis had abolished the trade unions, banned strikes and given more power to industrialists- where real wages fell down and hours were longer under Hitler rule.
- Re-armament: The process of re-armament began in 1935 which means that “guns before butter”.
- Autarky: The attempt for making Germany self-sufficient was unsuccessful.
- Nazis devised a scheme to allow workers to buy a Volkswagen beetle car with a small weekly payment
- The autobahn improved transport and travel system in Germany which results in easy transportation.
- Public works: He start huge programme in Germany in the improvement of such as schools and hospitals which are appreciated by people of Germany.
- Germany become strong and successful in world affairs and provide people hope and confidence.
- He stopped paying reparations and start investing money on German companies for the development of Germany and its citizens.
- National services: Introduction of many national services was opened for young men who spent six months in the RAD and then gradually mobilize into army. By 1939, 1.4 million young men in the army that’s why they are not counted as unemployed.
Disadvantages:
1.Effects on Europe: Within 15 years of end of war, Britain, France, Belgium and the Netherlands lost their empires. A handful of European nations had dominated the world. They had lost the will. the energy and the wealth to maintain the power. After the war, Europe faced the task of rebuilding the buildings. Europe has lost its recklesssness.
2.Effect on United States: Hitler defeat the United States, a country where earning a living is the definition of life. According to Hitler, this defeat meant the triumph of Bolshevism and its culture which is distributed in western Europe through occupation and in the Soviet bloc through imitation.
3.Under his rule, people felt that their lives were being totally controlled by Nazis. for instance, people could not even make a joke about Hitler without risking being arrested.
4. People were attacked and murdered by the Nazis for being Jewish or for being homosexual. People, such as Teachers, lost their job if they refused to teach their children about Hitler and his party.
5. People had their rights about freedom of speech taken away from them. Newspapers were controlled by Nazis. All thing were totally under his control. Even they set up a network of spies to make sure that no-one spoke against Hitler. those who did this mistake were put into prison by Gestapo.
6. Fear of network wasn’t so extensive, it totally relied on the support of German people. This is supported by the fact that there was just 21 Gestapo officials those secured the whole Wurzburg region.
7. The German people were likely to support Nazis regime was legitimate and more stable.
